Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Greenhouse (the “Service”), a web application that helps you care for houseplants with per-plant reminders, a logged collection, a species library, and step-by-step rescue guides. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

The Service

Greenhouse provides scheduling, reminders, and informational plant-care and diagnosis guidance. This guidance is informational only and provided on a best-effort, probabilistic basis — it is not professional horticultural, veterinary, or safety advice. Pet toxicity information is compiled from public references (e.g. the ASPCA) and is presented with conditional language; it is not a guarantee of safety. Always exercise your own judgment and consult a professional (e.g. a veterinarian) when a pet’s health is at risk.

Accounts

You sign in with a passwordless email link. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. You must provide a valid email address and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

Subscriptions, trial & billing

Greenhouse is offered on a 21-day trial followed by a paid annual subscription (a monthly option may be offered). Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd and affiliates), who act as the seller of record, handle taxes, and appear on your statement. We email you before your first charge, the exact first-charge date is shown before you confirm, and you can cancel in one tap inside the app at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

We offer self-service refunds within 14 days of a charge — see our Refund Policy.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the Service: no attempts to breach security, disrupt the Service, scrape at scale, upload unlawful content, or use it to harm others. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your content

You retain ownership of the plants, notes, and photos you add. You grant us a limited license to store and process them solely to provide the Service. You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Greenhouse is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of plants, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes & termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated by email or in-app. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts for violations of these terms.
