Every photograph in the plant library comes from Wikimedia Commons and is used under the licence its photographer chose. Here is each one, with who took it and where it came from.

Species reference photos

Each of these 200 photographs is a reference picture of the species it sits beside, taken from Wikimedia Commons and used under the licence shown. None of them is a customer’s plant or a recovery result, and none of them stands in for your own photo of your own plant. A species we have no freely licensed photograph of shows a botanical mark on its guide instead.

Problem reference photos

Each of these 17 photographs shows what the plant problem beside it looks like — on another grower’s plant, taken from Wikimedia Commons and used under the licence shown. They are examples, never a diagnosis: a picture here is not evidence about your plant and does not confirm what is wrong with it. None of them is a customer’s plant or a recovery result. A problem we have no freely licensed photograph of simply shows no picture.

Licences link to their own terms. If you hold the rights to one of these files and something here is wrong, write to us and we will correct or replace it.
